What We Do
Vision: A Boulder region where a connected network of transit, biking, walking, and shared mobility options gives residents, commuters, and visitors real alternatives to driving alone, strengthening the workforce, easing traffic congestion, and supporting a resilient regional economy.
Goal: Reduce single-occupant vehicle trips among Boulder’s non-resident workforce (currently over 70%) and visitors by expanding accessible, reliable multimodal transportation options across the region.
Strategic Priorities:
- Transit Access, Frequency & Affordability - Expand and strengthen fixed-route and regional transit service so traveling by bus is a frequent, reliable, and affordable option for Boulder's workforce and visitors.
- Biking, Walking & Mobility Infrastructure - Grow Boulder’s safe, connected network of bike lanes, multi-use paths, and micromobility infrastructure, and build a culture of walking and biking to work and special events.
- Shared Mobility & Employer Commute Programs (TDM) - Increase carpooling, vanpooling, and employer-supported commute programs that give workers realistic alternatives to driving alone.
