Community Agreements

Our Commitment

Boulder Chamber is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all meeting participants and staff. To this end, all participants - including but not limited to attendees, speakers, volunteers, exhibitors, sponsors, staff, and service providers - are expected to abide by these Boulder Chamber Community Agreements and Code of Conduct.

The Boulder Chamber strives to apply this set of Community Agreements and Code of Conduct to all its meetings and events, including virtual meetings. The Boulder Chamber also seeks to apply these Community Agreements and Code of Conduct to events and meetings that other organizations sponsor, but either the Boulder Chamber is supporting or are being held in Boulder Chamber facilities.

  • Treat others with respect, inclusivity, and consideration, recognizing that this event is a place for diversity of thought, organization, and individuals.
  • Communicate openly and thoughtfully with others, actively listen well to others, and be considerate of the multitude of views and opinions that are different than your own.
  • Acknowledge the difference between intent and impact - Be willing to accept that the impact of your actions may have been different than your intention.
  • Be mindful of your surroundings and the actions of others.
  • Respect the rules and policies of the meeting venue, hotel, Boulder Chamber contracted facility, or any other associated venue or site.

If you notice any behavior that is inconsistent with these Community Agreements, then please alert a Boulder Chamber staff member.
