For the past two years, Boulder City Council and the public have wrestled with the benefits and risks of forming a downtown development authority. City Council has received multiple public updates on the DDA review findings. They’ve asked questions, they’ve guided the public process, and on Thursday they are set to decide if our community should take the next step forward in forming the DDA for Downtown Boulder and University Hill.

As Boulder looks toward the next decade, our future will not be determined solely by the technologies we invent, the companies we attract or the research we conduct. The question facing Boulder is not whether we can compete. The question is whether we are willing to evolve as quickly as the world around us.

We'll be celebrating and recognizing the creative professionals across the Front Range who tell their stories, shape their clients' style, and elevate their brands.
