2025 Boulder Chamber Year In Review

As the year draws to a close, the Boulder Chamber remains committed to building a strong community by supporting for-profit and nonprofit local businesses, advocating for a healthy business environment, and fostering economic vitality. As we look ahead to 2026 and the next chapter beyond our 120th anniversary year, we’re eager to build on this momentum and continue driving business success in Boulder.

Boulder Chamber Elects New Board of Directors Leadership

Joining the Boulder Chamber Board from leading for-profit and nonprofit businesses across the Boulder Region, the new Board Directors will offer years of leadership experience and valuable community perspectives to their role in helping advance the Boulder Chamber’s mission.

Lifting The Pall

According to most recent data from Dean Callan’s quarterly reporting, vacancy rates sit at roughly a sobering 29% in the downtown area and about 13% to 17% across the rest of the community.

Throw into that high office vacancy mix Boulder’s status as a leading town for remote work — with nearing 30% of our workforce checking-in via their computers.  The result is a once bustling community of 100,000 workers now wishing it could return to the days when we worried more about commuter traffic than restaurants closing due to reduced customer traffic.

Join The Conversation: Boulder Chamber Economic Forecast

This year’s event will feature a National Economic Forecast by Dr. Richard Wobbekind, a Local Economic Forecast by Brian Lewandowski and presentation by our State Demographer, Kate Watkins.
