What We Do
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (DE&I) advises the Boulder Chamber organization on its diversity, equity and inclusion goals and action steps while also establishing the same for the Board of Directors.
Comprised of a cross-section of Boulder business and community leadership along with Chamber staff members, the DE&I Committee  provides input to identify and uncover opportunities to improve inclusivity and belonging in all Chamber supported activities and programs.

Ann Cooper, Co-Chair
As co-chair of the Boulder Chamber of Commerce Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, as well as other organizations of which I am a member or support, I wish there was no need for such a committee. It is my hope and my dream that diversity, equity, and inclusion would be intrinsically a part of every organization, committee, and community in the world and not have to be called out or questioned. However, here we are, and I am committed to doing my part to ensure that all people are welcome at the table and treated with respect and kindness, to help people see the value of diversity, and to acknowledge that having diverse thoughts, opinions, and contributions make for a better, richer, more productive, and more profitable bottom line.

I serve as Vice Chair on the Boulder Chamber of Commerce Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee because I believe in fostering a community where everyone feels valued and has access to opportunities. By promoting inclusive practices, we can create a stronger, more vibrant environment that benefits all members of our community. Together, our work can drive meaningful change, helping businesses and individuals thrive while cultivating a community of belonging and being multipliers of good.​
