Meet Liz!

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Liz Rachal is the Director of Sales and Partnerships at Turning the Corner HR, where she’s on a mission to end suffering in the workplace. A connector and problem-solver at heart, Liz is passionate about making a real difference in the businesses and nonprofits her team serves. She believes deeply in her company’s approach and enjoys coming up with new solutions that bring renewed hope to organizations struggling with people problems. She’s not afraid to roll up her sleeves and do hard work in the community alongside her team.

Liz moved to Colorado in 2017 to help care for her younger sister while she finished high school. What started as a temporary move quickly turned into something permanent. After seven years in Colorado Springs, Liz now lives in Longmont, while her sister has settled in Boulder.

Joining the Boulder Chamber as an Ambassador was a way for Liz to give back. Turning the Corner has benefited from the Chamber’s support over the years, and she sees the Ambassador program as an opportunity to pay it forward. For Liz, having a space where people can connect with the community and help one another is essential—especially for small businesses looking to grow and thrive.

Now, through her role as an Ambassador, Liz is helping others find those same connections. Whether she’s making introductions, welcoming new members, or showing up in support of the community, she brings the same thoughtful energy that defines her work and her purpose.

What is your favorite thing about Boulder (or Colorado)?

The outdoor beauty, including the mountains! I never had these views before, and they're breathtaking.

How long have you been a Boulder Chamber Ambassador?

I'm a new ambassador this year, and ready to make an impact!

What is your favorite thing about being an Ambassador?

The opportunity to work alongside some really awesome people who care about connecting with others at a deep level – beyond business, they truly want to help others.

What other ways are you involved with the Boulder Chamber?

I attend as many Boulder Chamber events as I can, especially Signature Events! There are always new learning experiences that I take away with me, and the parties are really fun, too.

What is your favorite Boulder Chamber event, and why?

The Women Who Light the Community was an amazing event last year. There was a lot of emotion and support for everyone in the room, and that felt truly inspirational to me. I left the event feeling energized from all of the women that had encouraged one another, and wanted to continue paying that forward. To me, the best events leave a lasting impact and make you want to do more!

What’s your favorite hobby?

Riding bikes with my kids and having a picnic under a tree!

What is your favorite snack?

That's a really hard question for me, because I love to snack... Probably cheese pizza rolls.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

I'm a Pisces, I have 3 cats, I'm extremely goofy with my friends, and I believe we're never done learning and growing as people. I have my master's in Organizational Management and Leadership and hope to one day go back to school again and earn my PhD.
