By Rosalie Sheffield
The Chamber‘s Fall Business Trade Fair brought together 80 exhibitors and more than 500 attendees for an evening full of business interactions, laughter and surprises. In addition to networking, the attendees treated themselves to fun activities.
Trade Fair attendees had their choice of a holiday style at FIX Hair Salon, chair massage, an offer to win a bicycle from Premier Federal Credit Union, or sampling of delicious food and treats from Indulge Bakery, Colorado Best Beef Company, and Paradise Café. Max Muscle Sports Nutrition booth served nutrition drinks while Field Turf Colorado let visitors run their fingers through grass that indefinitely stays green.
Business represented at the Trade Fair ranged from Spanish translation, accounting and finance, chiropracratic and massage to interior design, transportation, publishing, printing and mailing systems. “We were all so impressed with your excellent management of this event and definitely will participate in the future,” said Anne Feist of Colorado Senior Advisors/The Feist Group.
A wide variety of members of the business community came out to the event for hot business leads, too. Along with the chamber community, professionals from many other local business organizations attended the event.
“I’ve seen people here that I haven’t seen in 25 years,” said Alan Littman of Citron Workspaces. “We didn’t sit down all night, always another interested prospect to talk to,” said Donna Seng Plute of Jumpstart Revenue, Inc. “All I can say is don’t change a thing.”
The Chamber showed off its new logo, web site and marketing materials at its booth. They also gave away door prizes for to those who entered a drawing. The winners included Dale Sekuler of Eight Days a Week for a $200 gift certificate at the Flagstaff House; Cori Chavez of Studio Good Stuff won a complimentary bodywork package from Café of Life and the Bodywork Boutique a $335 value. The Boulder Ballet and Boulder Philharmonic also gave away two tickets to this season’s production of The Nutcracker to Andrea Medaugh of Boulder Homeowner Properties.
The Boulder Business Trade Fair provided ample opportunities for Chamber members to get exposure for their companies, meet potential clients and partners, and foster business connections that will result in continued success.
