Meet Your Ambassadors - Each week we will add a few ambassadors for you to meet. Check back and connect!
Ambassadors are available to assist you with engaging with all the Boulder Chamber has to offer. Look for the green name tags at events!

Ambassador Chair Peggy Altschuler of Legal Shield
Legal Shield provides affordable legal plans with identity theft protection. I have been in business for 11 years and a Chamber member for 10 years. What I love about the Chamber is the access to build relationships with other businesses in the community. The Chamber has benefited my business by helping facilitate meeting other people. Interesting fact: Climbs 14ers - has climbed 14 and working on Colorado.
Ambassador Chair Terri Kavanagh of EON Office
EON Office is a unique single source solution for office products purchasing. EON has been in business for 12 years and I have built my career there for over 5. I've also been a Chamber Member for over 5 years and am currently the Chair of our Ambassador team. What I love about the Chamber is that it's not a me-first organization. Instead of focusing solely on furthering one's business, the mission is more, "what can we do to help each other out in business and in the community". I credit the leadership at the Chamber for this mindset. The Chamber has benefitted my business by giving EON a ton of exposure. People will come up to me and tell me that they saw the EON truck, where if they didn't have the relationship with me, they probably wouldn't of noticed. The Chamber has made me feel more connected and more able to refer businesses to those looking for services.
Ambassador Marcella Barros of Rebay
Rebay is the place where, “We want what you don’t” Boulder’s ONLY Pawn Shop for 5 years.
I've been Business and Chamber member for over six years and what I love about the Chamber is the genuine and personal feeling about helping Boulder Businesses succeed – they provide a real personal touch!
The Chamber has benefitted my business by giving me the opportunity to engage. There are so many ways to actively be involved in the Chamber and be connected, my favorite being the networking events and leads groups. Also, the Chamber is a great advocate for the businesses in and around Boulder.

John Regur of
What I love about the Chamber is the friends I've made throughout the years... As a small business owner, I love the opportunity to chat about issues, services & strategies with fellow members, to seek out their counsel. The Chamber's members are a vauable resource for my customers. My clients have had the benefits of dialoguing with Chamber colleagues in differing fields with ideas and advice they wouldn't have had access to without the Chamber connection. I recommend that Chamber members utilize some of the lesser attended groups that the Chamber offers, or find 5-6 members that can become a sort of advisory committee to share ideas with. I've been in business 40 years in 7 different countries....Japan, Indonesia, London, Spain, Sigapore, Canada and the U.S. My business is: Helping Boulder County families and small businesses with comprehensive financial advice..."
I can help businesses and individuals understand their insurance needs. I can find the right insurance company and appropriate coverage to protect their assets. I have been a Chamber member all 13 years I have been in business. What I love about the Chamber is the Worker’s Compensation Safety Dividend Program, which allows me to represent the program and provide these benefits to my customers. The Chamber has benefited my business by helping me get a “foot in the door” with many local businesses. As a result, I have built great working relationships and friendships. An interesting fact about me: My husband and I are avid tandem bicycle riders and enjoy bicycle camping trips.
Ambassador Nancy Chin-Wagner
My goal is building success through PowerConnections. I have been a Boulder Chamber Member for 7 years. What I love about the Chamber is meeting new members, prospective clients and building relationships with entrepreneurs. The programs the Chamber offers are fantastic and I especially enjoy the Business Women's Leadership Group and the collaboration the Chamber has with the Small Business Development Center and its programming. The Chamber has benefitted my business by bringing together business owners under one roof and has provided the ability to network and develop connections. The Chamber provides advocacy for the businesses in Boulder as well as solopreneurs.
An interesting fact about me that most people wouldn't suspect is that I was a teacher in New York City working with K-2nd grade and that for 10 years I have been involved with Tai Chi.
Ambassador Eric Gorsegner of Front Range Public Policy & Community Affairs
I am a new but active member of the Boulder Chamber. After a long career working in public policy Arizona and Wisconsin, I relocated to Colorado in 2012 and established Front Range Public Policy & Community Affairs. While in Arizona, my career included positions as Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Phoenix, Deputy Director to the State’s Election Agency, Policy Advisor at Arizona’s Public Utility Commission, Senior Government Relations Rep for the largest Water/Power Company in Phoenix and as Associate Director of the Sonoran Institute, a nonprofit specializing in land conservation, renewable energy, water resource issues and sustainable development throughout the Intermountain West. The Boulder Chamber is truly unique among chambers. Its members, leadership and staff mirror the dynamism of Boulder itself. People are constructive, committed and effective and I am excited to support their vision of sustainable economic development and entrepreneurship. It’s a place where driven and motivated people can make
a real difference.
Ambassador Bob Bolak of Sandler Training
I am President and authorized licensee of Sandler Training® in Boulder, Colorado. Known for triple digit revenue and profit increases, we offer clients over 25 years of sales, sales management and leadership experience and works with strong business owners, executives and high performing salespeople who:
-Have a strong base of satisfied customers, but are unable to generate enough new accounts to achieve personal or company goals.
-Have lots of proposal activity but are hearing & accepting too many "think-it-overs" from prospective clients and customers.
-Are experiencing longer sales cycles and want to save time and money by shortening the sales cycle.
-Hate selling on price, but all too often get sucked into the lowest price trap by opportunistic prospects.
I am also a regular columnist on the topic of Sales, Sales Management and Leadership in the Boulder County Business Report.
I volunteer as a Chamber ambassador to support the Chamber in its mission of advancing business
in our community. Championing small business advocacy and policy and strengthening Boulder’s position as a global innovation leader. The Boulder Chamber is a jewel in our business community.
Ambassador Joel Thompson of Re/Max Alliance
I have been in business for 35 years and a Chamber member for 30 years. I am commited to providing my clients with the highest level of service possible. My pledge is to meet all of your real estate needs and build lifetime clients. What I love about the Chamber is the great business support and all the different oppotunities you have at the Chamber. Great opportunities to meet people and all the events available to get your business/name out there. The Chamber has benefited my business by giving me the opportunity to meet other business owners in businesses that I would not normally meet through my work. An interesting fact about me: I don't get a lot of time to do so, but in the summer I do spend some of my weekends on my motorcycle.
Ambassador Shaun Oshman of iSupportU
I touched down in Boulder in March of 2009 with the intention of starting an IT support business. Within 24 hours of touching down, I joined the Boulder Chamber because I understood that in order to succeed in business, you have to be an active and engaged member of the local business community. After four years of hard work, iSupportU has grown to a staff of ten with a long list of fantastic client businesses. Through all of this growth, the Chamber has continued to be a critical tool to stay connected. I served on the board of the Boulder 2140 group for three years before becoming an ambassador for the Boulder Chamber.
