Ambassador Program

Meet Your Ambassadors - Each week we will add a few ambassadors for you to meet.  Check back and connect!

Ambassadors are available to assist you with engaging with all the Boulder Chamber has to offer.   Look for the green name tags at events!

Chamber Ambassadors are active members who volunteer as an extension of the Chamber staff. Thanks to the volunteer support of a qualified crew made up of more than 30 Ambassadors, we are able to extend outreach to new members in the following capacities.

Greet attendees, facilitate member-to-member introductions, and help with event logistics.

New Member Mentors
Schedule one-on-one meetings to help new members get involved in Chamber programs that best meet their needs and connect with other members.

Ambassador Chair Terri Kavanagh of EON Office

EON Office is a unique single source solution for office products purchasing.  EON has been in business for 12 years and I have built my career there for over 5.   I've also been a Chamber Member for over 5 years and am currently the Chair of our Ambassador team.  What I love about the Chamber is that it's not a me-first organization.  Instead of focusing solely on furthering one's business, the mission is more, "what can we do to help each other out in business and in the community".  I credit the leadership at the Chamber for this mindset.    The Chamber has benefitted my business by giving EON a ton of exposure.  People will come up to me and tell me that they saw the EON truck, where if they didn't have the relationship with me, they probably wouldn't of noticed.  The Chamber has made me feel more connected and more able to refer businesses to those looking for services.

Ambassador Marcella Barros of Rebay

Rebay is the place where, “We want what you don’t” Boulder’s ONLY Pawn Shop for 5 years.

I've been  Business and Chamber member for over six years and what I love about the Chamber is the genuine and personal feeling about helping Boulder Businesses succeed – they provide a real personal touch!

The Chamber has benefitted my business by giving me the opportunity to engage.   There are so many ways to actively be involved in the Chamber and be connected, my favorite being the networking events and leads groups.  Also, the Chamber is a great advocate for the businesses in and around Boulder.

Ambassador:

John Regur

Dutch Creek Financial

What I love about the Chamber is the friends I've made throughout the years... As a small business owner, I love the opportunity to chat about issues, services & strategies with fellow members, to seek out their counsel.   The Chamber's members are a vauable resource for my customers.  My clients have had the benefits of dialoguing with Chamber colleagues in differing fields with ideas and advice they wouldn't have had access to without the Chamber connection.  I recommend that Chamber members utilize some of the lesser attended groups that the Chamber offers, or find 5-6 members that can become a sort of advisory committee to share ideas with.   I've been in business 40 years in 7 different countries....Japan, Indonesia, London, Spain, Sigapore, Canada and the U.S.    My business is:  Helping Boulder County families and small businesses with comprehensive financial advice..."

Ambassador Nancy Chin-Wagner

of Nancy Chin-Wagner, LLC.

My goal is building success through PowerConnections.   I have been a Boulder Chamber Member for 7 years.  What I love about the Chamber is meeting new members, prospective clients and building relationships with entrepreneurs.  The programs the Chamber offers are fantastic and I especially enjoy the Business Women's Leadership Group and the collaboration the Chamber has with the Small Business Development Center and its programming.   The Chamber has benefitted my business by bringing together business owners under one roof and has provided the ability to network and develop connections.  The Chamber provides advocacy for the businesses in Boulder as well as solopreneurs.

An interesting fact about me that most people wouldn't suspect is that I was a teacher in New York City working with K-2nd grade and that for 10 years I have been involved with Tai Chi.
