Community Affairs Council
Some of the Chamber's best work occurs behind the scenes. Our Board of Directors look to the Community Affairs Council for advice on upcoming decisions and policy issues at the local, regional, and national levels.
The CAC is made up of Chamber members convened by invitation of the Board. Meeting monthly, the group represents a cross section of industries and backgrounds. The CAC discusses various public policy and regulatory issues that affect Chamber members, and makes recommendations to Chamber staff and the Board on the most effective manner of advocacy and involvement.
Key issues include: Economic Vitality Programs and Policies, City Revenue Stabilization, Impact Fees and Excise Taxes, Development Fees, Water Rates, Municipalization and the Climate Action Plan. Those interested in joining may contact Angelique Espinoza at (303) 442-1044 x122.
