The Business Women’s Leadership Group annually honors women who have made significant contributions through innovations and a committed effort to address a meaningful business or community need, locally, regionally, nationally, or globally.

Call for Nominations Deadline:  April 19, no exceptions.

Winning nominees will be honored at the 18th Annual Women Who Light the Community luncheon on Wednesday, June 19, 2013.

And the Award Goes To: The Boulder Chamber recognized several business leaders during a special awards ceremony at the Celebration of Leadership event on April 4. Pedestrian Shop owner Richard Polk  received the Franny Reich Local Business Hero Award for his legacy of business leadership and commitment to supporting the community. CU's Vice Chancellor for Strategic Relations Frances Draper received the Virginia Patterson Business Person of the Year Award for her leadership and for strengthening ties between the business community and the university. Namaste Solar CEO Blake Jones received the Business Innovator of the Year award for his pioneering efforts to bring solar energy into the mainstream. The Chamber Champions Award was also bestowed on a team of 13 business leaders for their volunteer efforts. Congratulations to our award recipients!

This fun evening includes a special cocktail reception, awards celebration, silent auction, delicious food, and of course, time to connect with friends and colleagues in the Boulder business community.  The Celebration of Leadership is not just a who’s who social event; it’s also a fundraiser to support the nonprofit Boulder Chamber’s efforts to strengthen the local business community. As the region’s flagship business support and advocacy organization, the Boulder Chamber helps promote economic success, influence policy, and facilitate valuable businesses connections.

Annual Awards Dinner 2012
The Boulder Chamber’s Annual Dinner is a high profile event honoring our volunteers and deserving members of the business community.  This year's dinner on March 15, 2012 will be hosted at the University Memorial Center, CU Boulder, and will feature keynote speaker, Jeremy Bloom, former All American Football Player, two-time Olympic skier and an entrepreneur in both the technological and non profit industries. Discover Cuba with the Boulder Chamber - September 2012 - The Boulder Chamber Discover Cuba program departs September 13, 2012 for 9 days, 8 nights - Space is Limited - Journey to Cuba and discover this country's delightful people, island culture, unique history, and beautiful landscapes.  Become part of a privileged few and legally travel to the island nation.  our partner, Chamber Explorations, has been issued a specific license by the Department of the Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control, which authorizes registered guests of our programs to visit Cuba legally.  There are no applications to complete, and your travel with us is fully authorized.  Prior to departure, you will receive a copy of our Specific License and Letter of Authorization which legalizes your travel to Cuba.  Learn more about this Member Benefit

CU Buff Kickoff Luncheon 2012
Held in conjunction with CU-Boulder to kick off the new season, this event is attended by business professionals and CU's football team and coaches. This past year's luncheon took place at the Balch Field House.  Mark your calendar for August 30, 2012.

Boulder Business Trade Fair
In 2012 the Chamber will hosted the region’s signature business networking event.  More than 60 exhibitors came together to learn more about local business resources. The fair was on November 14, 2012 at the Stadium Club at Folsom Field in conjunction with our November Business After Hours.   The Boulder Chamber event's team is planning next year's event and details will be availble next year.
